Smoky Mountains

We left home on Saturday, April 23.  Our first stop was Hot Springs Arkansas.  We stayed at the KOA.  We did not unhook.  We were only traveling through.

On Sunday, April 24 we traveled to Memphis Teen where we stayed for 3 nights. We stayed at Graceland RV camp.

We walked along the Mississippi.

We had a great day touring Graceland.

We walked on Beal Street.
Visited Sun Records and the Civil Rights Museum.

On Wednesday April 27 we left Memphis and traveled to Nashville.  We stayed at a KOA for the night.

Then on April 28 we traveled to Pigeon Forge Tenn.
We stayed in the Smoky Mountain area for 7 nights.
We stayed at the Claybough Campground.

We hiked to Laurel Falls and The Sinks.

We drove to Newfound Gap and then hiked Clingmans Dome.
Clingmans Dome is the Smokey Mountains highest point.
It was just beautiful.

In Gattlinburg we went to the Skybridge and Anakesta.

One of my favorite things was the time we spent in Cades Cove.  David enjoyed watching for bears.

We also really enjoyed playing in the streams and having a picnic.

We left the Smoky Mountains after 7 great days and traveled home stopping in Nashville, Memphis and finally Hot Springs.
