We left home on Saturday morning and
traveled to West Oklahoma.
Our first stop was Great Plains State Park.
It was a beautiful day. Our campsite had
a great view of the lake.
We stayed here two nights.
The first evening we went to the edge of the lake
and watched the most beautiful sunset.
The next day, Sunday, we went driving through
Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge.
We went walking around the lake.
The lake became known as bug camp
because there were so many bugs on our walk.
We also played cards.
Then on Monday we traveled back to
Texas to the the Pan Handle.
We stayed three nights at Palo Duro Canyon State Park.
The first evening we went to the rim to see the sunset.
On Tuesday we hiked to the Lighthouse.
Then we hiked and hiked and hiked some more.
